3.3.1.Choose your sub-domain
Ever user on Kettik gets their own mini website like 'username'.kettik.com. This mini website behaves exactly like the main Kettik site but it is dedicated to showing your content only. Even the drop down destination navigation bar at the top would show only the destinations from the content you created. How cool is that !!. It is a perfect way for you to showcase your content and for your fans to explore and enjoy your stories and photos.
To active this you need to choose your own user name, your user name can be anything as long as it is not already taken. Do choose your username carefully because once chosen, it cannot be changed.
3.3.2.Personalize your Home page
You can personalize your home page by choosing your preferred layout for your page and by uploading a custom logo (220x70px) and pick a title and a blurb for your page.
3.3.3.Setup your own Disqus commenting system
Kettik uses the Disqus commenting system by default. Disqus is one of the best commenting systems available today, it is feature packed and promotes more active discussions on your blog posts. We want to give you the option of running your own Disqus forum. Having your own Disqus forum gives you more control over the comments added to your posts, you can receive automatic email notifications, as a moderator for your posts and take your comments with you incase you decide to leave Kettik in the future.
3.4.Promote
You can promote your Facebook fan page and Twitter account by integrating them directly into your blog.
